Beautiful place! Under new management. Owners very nice. The views across Bodmin moor and Colliford Lake are just gorgeous and with the forest it is perfect. The food is freshly cooked and really nice. The rooms are basic, but nice and very clean, there are some with huge balconies, which look over look the lake and moors. Definitely come back. The place is work in progress, the owners are highly motivated and very professional. Definitely worth a visit, as it has a natural, unspoilt, non commercialised feel about it.

The owners are so pleasant and willing. The camping facilities need a bit updating, but the place has such a charm that we felt instantly at home. Not like other money milking camps, very family friendly, and the location is like a hidden gem. We were actually a bit upset that we were leaving so we will be definitely back!

Peaceful location with beautiful views of the lake and the moor. Really friendly and welcoming owners. A good range of drinks and local beers. Food is absolutely delicious - I wouldn't have changed a thing. I recommend the lamb chops, which were cooked just right and a reasonable price. I don't think I've ever seen such a large and varied range of vegan and veggie options. We hope to be visiting again soon.

This one was only I could stay overnight in busy summer holiday on my emergency situation at work. Run by lovely guys campsite and tavern hide in the woods with lake view. Owner was kind and friendly, opened kitchen for me after hours and prepared early breakfast. Spent night in caravan which was good enough, comfy and clean. The only issue - shower cold water ...refreshing but not pleasant.

Very conveniently located campsite with lake views. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and both had excellent curries (Jalfrezi and Korma, served with Sag Aloo and pilau rice - delicious!!)

This was our first time camping, when we arrived everyone was friendly the staff were nice. The facilities are kept clean, the bar is open every night, doesnt do all spirits but quite a few and a nice beer. The prices are cheap and the chips are nice! Its lovely being on the Bodmin Moor with so many view points nearby. Shower was a little cooler than i like but still warm enough to shower in

Found this little place while driving through Cornwall and stopped off for the night, lovely and peaceful location, nice hotel on site and toilet/shower blocks that were spotless, staff were kind enough to come round and check everyone was OK and to see if they needed anything, will definitely stop by again when traveling round cornwall

We had a stopover, in our motorhome, on the way to our holiday. Beautiful, quiet location 5 mins from the A30. I cannot praise the owners enough! They were so friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful meal and they arranged for us to have it in the motorhome as we were tired. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely book again next year.
